Truchas Peaks NM

The majestic Truchas Peaks of the Sangre De Cristo Range in the southern Rocky Mountains were painted in Plein Air on the side of the road just outside the high mountain village of Truchas NM. Painted in early spring the snows are still heavy up high while spring warmth begins to melt snow in the valleys.
