This is one of my favorite places to paint, at different seasons, time of day, light and moods. This painting is a 24" x22" oil, painted in my studio from several of my plein air studies. It holds the promise and hope of a new Spring. The days are longer, snow and ice are melting, new life and growth are emerging, all in the setting of the Kawuneeche Valley in Rocky Mountain National Park.
